They ended up replacing the hood and the windshield. They fixed a bunch of dents on the roof that were caused by the hood flying up and hitting it. They repainted the hood and the roof. They matched it perfectly. I had a picture in my head of the hood being a different color then my car and the roof faded to gray. I was expecting the worst. Luckily, that wasn't the case. As an added bonus, they fixed some random plastic piece in my car that had been hanging down in front of the passenger seat for the last three years.

Car issues SUCK!!! I'm so sorry to hear about all that you had to go through and then how it won't start right. When it rains, it pours, huh? As for the car curse, there must be some kind of ritualistic dance you and your hubby could do around it...
Hooray, a car! But what good is a car that doesn't start? Yikes. I am happy it is back and sorry things are still not perfect. Maybe if you just asked it nicely it would start cooperating. Wish I had a better solution, but do call the last place it was and ask if the accident could have caused the problem with starting also. Maybe insurance is still part of the solution. Love you!
